It’s all about our fabrics, baby!

Purveyors of magnificent fabrics . The Crafty Mastermind is a modern, fresh, fabric store taking a fresh approach to online shopping.

Born out of frustration at the end of 2015 I was a quilter who had a bad fabric obsession. All I could see around me was dated twee designs and novelty prints. Most of the fabric that I found heart stopping  was all overseas. I couldn't have been the only person in the country in the same boat.

So enough of that! We have developed a beautiful range of high quality, quirky and more unusual and sometimes difficult to come by designs from the likes of  Cotton+ Steel, Tula Pink, Robert Kaufman, Dear Stella, Alexander Henry , Cloud 9 and Art Gallery fabrics to name a few. We are a twee free zone, stocking only the freshest, modern fabrics and stand behind everything we stock, loving every piece of fabric from the first cut till the end of the bolt.

We have built a website with the customer experience at the forefront. Making things easier for new sewist's taking the plunge into the sewing world, taking out the scary & confusing bits and easing them into the joy that is fabric shopping. With extra large pictures of the fabric so users can see what they are considering in minute detail, suggested fabrics and patterns on each page and a swatch service if customers are unsure.  

With tweets from Colette Patterns, the Sewing Directory and The Foldline who has also featured us in their Valentine's day crafty guide. The Crafty Mastermind has the modern cutting edge sewist in mind.
