Difficulty Beginner

Perfect for summer, this super super cute vintage style dress would look great in so many fabrics, go on, make 10 ..I'm already thinking one with tigers and another with birds, there are too many!

This pattern is good for intermediate sewist's or beginners who are up for it! There are darts, there is bias binding on the neckline, there's a lined waistband and an invisible zip, phew- after this you could go on GBSB!

View A has an unlined gathered dirndl skirt that can be cut on the length of grain, or on the crossgrain, for use on a border print or for fabric with a finished selvage like eyelet. The skirt is topped with large rectangle patch pockets. The waistband and pockets can be cut on grain, or on the bias, as pictured with the gingham fabric in the photos.

View B has piping above and below the waistband, and features an unlined pencil skirt that is fitted with waist darts. The piping can be made with self-fabric, as in the orange linen in the photos

Fabric Love lawn, rayon, medium weight fabric, chambray, cotton linen
